Ouray, Colorado began as a mining community. However, because of the closing of the mines, it has turned into a vacation destination. Our church is blessed with a constant flow of visitors throughout the year because of this. Our backgrounds are varied, which we celebrate, because it is Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that we have in common. Our position is that all are welcome to come as they are...but none are welcome to stay as they are. The continued prayer we pray as a church is that we would always be in a state of growth because our desire is God and God alone. The "dress" is casual and the fellowship is genuine and honest. |

Dan received his MDiv in May, 2005 from Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary. While in school he was the Assoc. Pastor and Minister of Youth at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Robinson, TX. Prior to that, he was the Youth Minister of First Baptist Church, El Paso, TX. Dan and his wife, Alyssa, have three boys; John Paul, Caleb Hall, and Judah Payton. |
